The 5lb Vulcan Closed Loop system comes mounted to a rack for ease of use and ultimate performance. The extractor comes fully upgraded with high quality superlok valves, borosilicate sight glasses, jacketed collection vessel, 100lb solvent tank on wheels, and a nitrogen manifold.
The Vulcan solvent starts in the jacketed 100lb solvent tank with an inner condensing coil, dip tube and drain (With optional cap). The solvent then heads into the 6”x36” extraction column with a filter plate on top for solvent disbursement, and a filter plate on bottom for material separation. The solvent now flows into the dewaxing column where dry ice can be inserted into the sleeve allowing fats in the solution to coagulate. Solution is then run through 2 filter plates and into the 8”x48” fully jacketed collection vessel. The jacketed collection vessel can then be heated to reclaim your solvent with ease. The solvent then enters through the 3”x18” molecular sieve and into the 10” jacketed rack mounted condensing coil. Once through the coil, the solvent is then reclaimed back into the 100lb solvent tank. Oil is then left at the bottom of your collection vessel which is very convenient to drain due to its hemispherical shape down to a ½” FPNT port.
Each vessel has hemi lids with sight glasses, and inlet sight glasses for ease of visuals and use. The Vulcan is equipped with high quality 1000psi at -65°F superlok valves that will always provide superior quality. Each vessel has a ¼” compression line attached with a ball valve connected to a ¼” compression manifold that can be connected to a nitrogen regulator for ease of nitrogen assisting.
